Assistant Professor

Teaching:

• Develop lesson plans using research and scholarly publications.

• Teach courses in literature and writing with a focus on improving skills in writing, research, and analysis.

• Promote diversity through teaching, co-curricular programming, and interpersonal relationships.

• Promote rapport in order to create a constructive learning environment and effective classroom management.

• Knowledge of assessment tools and measurements for student placement and development and to improve teaching strategies.

• Teach SAT and GRE test-taking strategies.

Publication:

• Conduct historical, literary, cultural, and sociopolitical research from an interdisciplinary perspective in order to strengthen teaching expertise, subject content knowledge, complete research and publications.
